Nittany Oil Company

Client Name: Nittany Oil Company
Project: Website design and development; On-site optimization
Project Status: Complete
Nittany MinitMart provides great food and gas at over 30 locations across the state of Pennsylvania. Their locations throughout the state offer a full, regularly-updated menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, and they feature regular promotions. MinitMart management approached The Website Marketing Agency in the Spring of 2011 about producing a website that would showcase the company's many offerings.

The MinitMart brand had established colors and fonts, and the new site had to streamline and amplify that existing brand structure. The final design is light, fun and engaging, reflecting the MinitMart brand. Users can readily navigate between the site's pages, always a click or two away from any other point on the site.

The homepage of the new website features a prominent main slider which can be edited through the site's CMS with no need for any additional photo editing software. A secondary slider features every menu item available at Nittany MinitMart locations. The menu items link to their area of the site's menu page. This page categorizes the MinitMart menu through the use of an accordion slider. An interactive map showcases the location of each MinitMart store, and a contact form captures visitor information. Access to the brand's social media channels follows the user throughout the site.

The site's content management system (CMS) enables site administrators to easily update menu items, slides, and site copy and photos. In addition, the CMS allows MinitMart to update the site's on-site search engine optimization indicators like meta description, title tags, keywords, and more. The site has been enjoying increased traffic numbers, as well as positive comments from the Nittany MinitMart customer base.

The Website Marketing Agency was great to work with. They took a lot of the hard work off of our plate by coming up with great suggestions for the project. They consistently came up with very creative suggestions to communicate to our specific target audience.
